This risible adaptation of the MTV cartoon about a rebel babe (Charlize Theron) in the totalitarian future is best watched with the commentary on. That way you can simply feast on the stylish Berlin locations while the star pontificates about about 25th century as a metaphor for today. "It feels very much like we could be heading that way if we don't watch ourselves," Theron says, meaning either life under state-run surveillance or being fed gilded turkeys like this one.
