A lot of this is boring, and it's shot in flickering black and white with atrocious sound. But scenester O'Brien was onto something in 1978 when he hosted his public-access variety show to celebrate the then-raging NYC punk and New Wave scenes. Of the oddball performances, the Dictators' Adny Shernoff's solo take on the Gladiators' "Dreadlocks the Time Is Now" is a gem.
