All The Right Reasons : Nickelback : Review : Rolling Stone

Nickelback's fifth disc consists of eleven giant-chorused songs about prisons of the mind, wanting to be a rock star and how it's hard to up and leave when she's going down on you. The band's wordy hooks and big riffs are as meticulously arranged as a thousand-dollar Nativity scene, but -- with the exception of the sleekly rocking "Animals" and some hope-and-faith platitudes -- All the Right Reasons is so depressing, you're almost glad Kurt's not around to hear it.

love it love it love it. in the history of rock every great rock band has been initialy criticized by the so called critics, from ac/dc to van halen to kiss to sabbath etc etc I could go on but I am sure you get the picture. You see great rock n roll is about being irreverant about having fun about being imature thats why its ROCK music guys, it aint art its all about having fun. I saw these guys in sydney in 2006 and I was blown away, the power of the band, the clarity of the sound and the true spirit of rock n roll was alive and well on that night. As you are no doubt now aware I am a FAN, I love this band and I love this bloody album. To all true rock fans enjoy, to all the rest, in the immortal words of guns and roses, well...............?

*Charliiieeeee knows what he is talking about
*and thirdly all the right reasons is just a kickass rock record whether your too much of a "stuck in the nineties" prick to admit it or not. they're an awesomely talented band and they dont give a shit what the critics or anyone else thinks they're out to make music

Out of curiosity I decided to type in nickelback and see what everyone said about them. I was more than thrilled to see that everyone feels the same way I do about this piece of shit band. The comment made about "photograph" was said perfectly. Awful Awful Shit...

I have(unfortunately) heard every single song on this CD. Every time I hear one of their songs it makes me want to throw up and beat myself over the head with a brick. I have tried to justify in my mind why something could be so popular and loved by everyone when they suck so terribly bad. OMG, this band is the cheesiest, and fakest band out there. . .minus Hinder(cause they're NB rip-offs, really--rip-offs that were ripped-off from) I can't even believe that RS even reviews NB Cds anymore--much less to give them a 2-star score that says they are "Just horribly bad" when they are truly the worst of a front of horrid music that roams the charts like a raving lunatic that is so full of crap that it sells it to losers who can't afford real music.

ATRR is...awkward

On one hand I like the songs
On the other they disgust me
Most are purposely radio friendly
Most have sick lyrics involving drugs, sex, murder, and barfights
