Bending Chords is the 2002 followup (2nd) cd release by me - Jeffrey van D or Jeff Van Devender. It is released on my indie label JavaMusiK which was started as a vehicle to market this music.

Bending Chords features 10 piano-based instrumental compositions which were compiled from 4 years of writing after Ascend was released in 1998.

Bending Chords stretches the boundaries from the foundation laid by Ascend. More instrumentation plus several up-tempo numbers make this a more diverse selection for the listener. I hope you enjoy it.

Please note the cover version of the public domain songs Finlandia (Be Still My Soul - Sibelius), Largo (Dvorak) and Ode To Joy (Ode To A Joyful Hymn - Beethoven). Also the very first up-tempo song I ever wrote, Synyrgyze!, is featured here, as well as a dedication to 14 fallen firefighters titled Storm King Sacrifice.
