While Bush scrambles to push through last-minute rules, he's spent years remaking the federal judiciary in his own ideological image. All told, he has appointed 326 of the nations 875 federal judges — and at least 75 are likely to remain on the bench a generation from now. Here, the worst of Bush's lifetime appointments, and how long we're stuck with them (assuming a retirement age of 70):
