Zarqawi: The Autopsy

By |

If Zarqawi was abused in the final 24 minutes of his life, the punishment was redundant. According to the autopsy, the terrorist died because "blast waves from the two bombs caused tearing, bruising of the lungs and bleeding."

"The injuries to his lungs were not survivable," said military spokesman Col. Steve Jones, "That's what killed him," Addressing allegations of that the terrorist had been mistreated, Jones added: "There is no evidence to suggest that he was beaten, and I have no reason to suspect that that happened."
