Lebanon: Saniora Rebukes U.S.

With 300 Lebanese dead, 500,000 refugees, and the nation's infrastructure increasingly in rubble, Lebanese prime minister Fuad Saniora lashed out at the U.S. and the international community for failing to support the democracy born of the Cedar Revolution:

"Is this what the international community calls self-defense? Is this the price we pay for aspiring to build our democratic institutions?"
