Latest GOP Plan to Destroy EPA: Merge It With Energy Dept

It's been about five minutes since the GOP last tried to destroy the EPA, so Senate Republicans are pushing a new plan to do the agency in by – get this – merging it with the Energy Department. No, really – they want to team up the guys who manage nuclear and fossil-fuel energy with the ones who protect human health and the environment in one big happy super-agency. I guess that's one way to ensure there'll be a "green" voice on the energy task forces of future Republican administrations.
