Forging History

Pulitzer winning reporter Ron Suskind -- whom the White House today strained to call a practitioner of "gutter journalism" -- reveals in his latest book that the White House ordered the CIA to forge a post-dated letter between Saddam and his intelligence chief in late 2003 purporting to detail Saddam's collusion with Mohammed Atta as well as Iraq's receipt of a covert shipment from Niger (wink, wink.)

Shocking, and as Suskind takes care to point out, potentially impeachable behavior, from an administration that had lied its way into war and was looking to cover its tracks.
