Amanda Knox Signs Book Deal with Harper Collins

Memoir will reveal new details of her time in an Italian prison

Amanda Knox has signed a deal with Harper Collins to pen a memoir about her nightmarish experience in an Italian prison after being coerced into confessing to a brutal murder. Knox, who was recently cleared of all charges and released from jail, will officially announce details of the book in a statement tomorrow.

Knox's memoir is a very hot commodity in the publishing world, and a bidding war broke out between major publishing houses over picking up the rights to her story. The details of Harper Collins deal with Knox have not been revealed, but her contract is likely to exceed $1 million.
