Would Obama Accept the Support of Clinton-Pledged Delegates

POSTED:

Here's a wrinkle....

The Field is reporting that a group of 40 (primarily California) delegates are preparing to shift en masse from Clinton to Obama. The group is led by super delegates eager to see the race come to an end. But among this group are also some of Clinton's pledged delegates.

We all remember that Clinton had previously threatened to try to flip Obama's pledged delegates.

The question is: Would the Obama campaign -- which has elevated the pledged delegate count as the prime measure of the people's will in this race -- accept the support of faithless Clinton pledged delegates?
