Barack Obama is raising more money from Wall Street for his re-election campaign than he did in 2008, according to a new study by the Center for Responsive politics. One-third of the money Obama's elite fund-raising corps has raised, $11.3 million, has come from the financial sector. This is partly because the president's reelection effort has been adding new Wall Street bundlers who didn't work for him in 2008, including former Goldman Sachs CEO Jon Corzine. And, as CNBC notes, it's "a reflection of the power of the presidency and an incumbent who many on Wall Street think has better than even odds of being reelected."
