GOP governors and state legislators in a dozen states have been busy this year working to keep Democrats away from the voting booth in 2012, as Ari Berman recently detailed in Rolling Stone. The particular tactics vary – from throwing up barriers to registration to cutting early voting to requiring photo IDs to disenfranchising felons –  but add them all up you see the contours of a well funded, nationally coordinated campaign to limit the franchise in a way that hurts Democrats and benefits Republicans.

Now the nonpartisan Laywers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law has put together a useful Map of Shame, where you can track GOP block-the-vote efforts nationwide. Take a look!
