Trayvon Martin, the African American teenager shot to death in Florida last month by neighborhood watch officer George Zimmerman, was wearing a hoodie when he was killed. This is significant because wearing-a-hoodie-while-black is, apparently, prima facie evidence of criminal intent. How did TV reporters and anchors cover this angle of the case?
