Elizabeth Warren Drops by the Daily Show


Elizabeth Warren, former chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel that ran TARP, creator of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and currently Democratic Senate candidate in Massachusetts, appeared on last night's Daily Show to make a case for an economy that works for America's middle class. She told host Jon Stewart that government now "works for those who can hire an army of lobbyists or lawyers," rather than "[investing] in our kids' future." She also laid down the law about this year's Super Bowl: "The Pats are going to spank the Giants,” Warren told Stewart. “It’s just reality.” Watch her appearance below.
