Voodoo Festival 2008: Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, R.E.M., Lil Wayne Rock the Big Easy

Nine Inch Nails' two-plus hour-long set included a suite of songs from Ghosts I-IV that tested the patience of some, but the pieces were luminous, with their mood heightened by the spectacular light and video show. For much of the instrumental set, a stylized version of dead trees loomed behind the band.
