Each of the three records Joy Division recorded during their brief career gets deluxe treatment with remastered sound and a bonus disc of live performances -- including a 1980 gig at the Factory in Manchester, England, and the group's last-ever show, taped at Birmingham University the same year. "We recorded Unknown Pleasures over three weekends in a local studio in Manchester," says Joy Division guitarist Bernard Sumner. "No Pro Tools or anything. It was all pretty much live takes."
