Lace-up leather pants: Find a pair that fits comfortably. Now exchange those for one two sizes smaller. Tie the crotch laces as tightly as possible into a bow, rather than a knot (for quick removal backstage or on a tour bus). No matter what, do not wash. Eventually they will mold to your sinewy nether parts, sometimes with real mold.
