WE HELPED CREATE THE NEWEST ROUND OF FIGHTING. The failing Darfur Peace Agreement was created and signed under intense diplomatic pressure from the Bush administration. Despite the rejection of the peace deal by two of the three rebel armies, the agreement was allowed to stand, launching the latest round of violence. We made this mess, and it's our responsibility to help fix it.
