"I'm obscene," says Ghostface, summing up the mood of the album, due March 28th. "Political things are all good, but my direction is different right now." It includes the Clan reunion "Nine Milli Bros," as well as "Back Like That," a bitter tirade about an ex-girlfriend, with R&B newcomer Ne-Yo.
Ghostface is currently on the road in support of Fishscale, set to wrap with an April 22nd appearance at New York's inaugural Green Apple Music Festival. The trek comes just weeks after the rapper finished a tour with the reunited Clan, in the wake of the death of their most eccentric member, Ol' Dirty Bastard. Wu-Tang are also planning a reunion album.
Meanwhile, Fishscale may be poised to put a dent in the chart: Ghostface's last record, 2004's The Pretty Toney Album, bowed at Number Six.
