Get ready to dive into the country-rock mosh pit, because Kid Rock is heading back on the road for his first full-scale tour since 2004. The trek will stop in twenty-three locations across the Midwest and East, beginning February 16th in Hollywood, Florida. Prior to announcing the U.S. dates, Rock played a string of sold-out shows in January, and in his hometown of Detroit around the Super Bowl.

The upcoming jaunt will coincide with Rock's February 28th release, Live Trucker, his first-ever live CD. The thirteen-track offering was recorded between 2000 and 2004 in various locations across Michigan, and features Rock favorites like "Cowboy," "American Bad Ass" and a duet with "redneck woman" Gretchen Wilson on "Picture." The record also features the Twisted Brown Trucker Band, Rock's longtime backing band with turn-table sleuth Uncle Kracker. The pint-sized rapper Joe C, Rock's sidekick who died in 2000, also appears on some of the album's tracks.

After the release of his 2003 self-titled debut, Kid Rock has kept a relatively low profile. Last year, he only played one-off shows after pleading no contest to criminal assault after punching the DJ at a Nashville strip club. Rock was ordered to attend anger management classes.
