Norwegian pop starlet annie invaded the U.S. in style, sassing the jaded urban hipsters on the dance floor with her club smash "Chewing Gum," the year's finest breakup anthem. Over fizzy electro-disco beats, Annie sings about how she chews up the boys and spits them out: "Oh, no, you've got it all wrong/You think you're chocolate but you're chewing gum." But Anniemal is more than just an album with one perfect pop song attached -- her breathy vocals and sensual production get downright poignant in "Heartbeat" and her fearsome theme song "Anniemal." Hail the Norse goddess.
