This debut album from Brooklyn dance auteurs James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy comes with a bonus disc of their near-essential club singles, including the Kraftwerk-style ghost dance "Losing My Edge" -- a hilarious made-up catalog of cool. But the new material shows no loss of edge or wit. "Daft Punk Is Playing at My House" is punchier and funnier than anything by that French duo, while the hammering punk of "Movement" evokes New York's golden age of crossover in the early Eighties, when the only thing between a CBGB hardcore show and a night at the Paradise Garage was a cab ride.
