John Mayer Trio, Tom Waits, Dave Matthews, Joss Stone, Trey Anastasio, the Meters, Ray Lamontagne and Galactic with the Mardi Gras Indians will play a Hurricane Katrina benefit concert at New York's Radio City Music Hall on September 20th.

The event will take place simultaneously with the Madison Square Garden show, dubbed From the Big Apple to the Big Easy. Simon and Garfunkel, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Kermit Ruffins, Dave Bartholomew and Irma Thomas will join previously announced acts Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Nicks, Fats Domino, Bette Midler, Jimmy Buffett, John Fogerty, Loggins and Messina, and Earth, Wind and Fire for that event.

The Garden is both underwriting From the Big Apple and donating an additional $1 million to the cause. Tickets are already on sale, while tickets for the Radio City show will go on sale this Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Roots and Jill Scott will perform at a charity show in Philadelphia on Friday. Proceeds will go to the NAACP's hurricane relief effort. And Wynton Marsalis, Elvis Costello, Paul Simon and Bette Midler will participate in a benefit on Saturday at New York's Jazz at Lincoln Center.
