Los Lonely Boys will kick off a twenty-date tour that will include opening spots for the Rolling Stones and Tim McGraw, and a performance at Farm Aid alongside headliners Willie Nelson, Dave Matthews Band, Neil Young and Wilco, beginning September 10th in Chicago.
The ever-touring west Texas trio -- guitarist Henry Garza and brothers JoJo (bass) and Ringo (drums) -- plans to perform material from their upcoming album, the follow-up to 2004's Grammy-winning self-titled debut, on the outing.
Among the new songs are "My Way," which slams meddling execs; the ballad "Never Met a Woman," which Garza calls a "making-babies song"; and "This One's for the Outlaws Before Me," which the Garzas hope will feature Farm Aid founder Willie Nelson.
The band plans to have the album in stores by late fall or winter.
