Bob Dylan comes to DVD, Wyclef hang with DIA

The BOB DYLAN biopic, No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, will be available on DVD on September 20th. The MARTIN SCORSESE-directed film will make its television premiere September 26th on PBS, and the double-disc soundtrack will be available August 30th . . . WYCLEF JEAN has teamed with French fashion designer DIA to launch a clothing line called Refugee . . . BACKSTREET BOYS' NICK CARTER was given three years informal probation, ordered to pay a $1,200 fine and had his driving privileges restricted for ninety days for his March drunk-driving charge. The pop star will also have to attend a three-month alcohol awareness program . . . LIZ PHAIR will release Somebody's Miracle on October 4th. The singer-songwriter will preview music from the new album on her acoustic tour, which kicks off July 23rd at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival . . . CROSBY, STILLS AND NASH will embark on the North American leg of their world tour on July 23rd in Florence, Massachusetts . . .

The COWBOY JUNKIES will release the anti-war-themed Early 21st Century Blues on August 16th. The album, which is currently available exclusively through the band's Web site, is mostly covers with two new original tracks from the band . . . WILLIE NELSON, JESSICA SIMPSON, the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND, LYNYRD SKYNYRD and the CHARLIE DANIELS BAND are featured on the The Dukes of Hazzard soundtrack, due July 19th . . . RAY LAMONTAGNE kicks off his North American tour on July 1st, wrapping up August 17th in Atlanta. The singer-songwriter will play three dates with DAVE MATTHEWS BAND during the trek . . . BILLY RAY CYRUS will make a cameo in the WILLIAM HUNG video for his version of Cyrus' "Achy Breaky Heart" off Hung's latest album, Miracles: Happy Summer . . . The FLAMING LIPS will release the VOID (Video Overview in Deceleration DVD on August 23rd. The DVD will feature nineteen music videos, including the recently shot video for "Mr. Ambulance Driver," the band's contribution to the upcoming Wedding Crashers soundtrack . . . PAUL OAKENFOLD will kick off a summer tour on July 3rd in New York . . . Country rockers LONESTAR will release their eighth studio album, Coming Home, on September 12th . . .

BOB DYLAN will release Bob Dylan: Live at the Gaslight 1962, on August 30th through Starbucks. The CD will feature ten tracks recorded early in the singer-songwriter's career at the Gaslight Cafe located in New York's Greenwich Village . . . OUTKAST's BIG BOI, LIL' KIM and TWISTA will be featured on the soundtrack for the Midway Games arcade racing video game "LA Rush." The game and soundtrack will be released this holiday season . . . 50 CENT will be featured in the new Reebok "Street Sports" commercial promoting the GXT II cross trainer. The spot, which features Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro Quarterback Donovan McNabb and Boston Red Sox World Series MVP Manny Ramirez, debuted Tuesday on BET during the 2005 BET Awards show . . . EMINEM, OBIE TRICE and D-12 will join The All Out Show with Lord Sear and Rude Jude, on the Eminem-produced Sirius satellite radio channel Shade 45, for an exclusive live preview of the Anger Management Tour 3 on June 29th. The show will air the live broadcast while the rappers rehearse for the tour, which kicks off on July 7th in Indianapolis . . . SONIC YOUTH, SLEATER-KINNEY, the BLACK KEYS, OLIVIA TREMOR CONTROL and CAT POWER will headline the Arthurfest in Los Angeles on September 4th and 5th . . .

OZOMATLI will release the CD/DVD Live at the Fillmore on August 23rd. The set features behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews with the ten-piece band . . . UNWRITTEN LAW will hit the road on July 8th in Denver. 311 will join the California rockers on August 2nd, while PAPA ROACH jump on the bill August 6th . . . U2 filed a lawsuit Tuesday charging their former stylist, Lola Cashman, with stealing more than $6,000 worth of memorabilia from the band, including items BONO wore during the band's 1987 Joshua Tree tour . . . POWERMAN 5000 will kick off their U.S. tour on July 1st in Petaluma, California, and wrap it up August 23rd in Beaumont, Texas . . . QUEEN LATIFAH, ERYKAH BADU and JILL SCOTT will kick off the Sugar Water Festival on July 8th in Virginia Beach. The traveling festival will wrap on August 10th in Los Angeles . . . SHERYL CROW is currently in the studio recording acoustic renditions of ARETHA FRANKLIN's "I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Loved You)," WILLIE NELSON's "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" and JAMES TAYLOR's "You Can Close Your Eyes" for an enhanced version of the Starbucks Sheryl Crow Artist's Choice CD, due in the fall . . . JOHN LENNON's stamp collection will be on display at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum in Washington, D.C., in October.
