INTERPOL and the ARCADE FIRE have recorded new tracks for Six Feet Under -- Everything Ends, the second volume of music from the HBO series. The soundtrack also features COLDPLAY, RADIOHEAD, DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE and JEM . . . STEVIE WONDER will release "So What the Fuss" as the first "descriptive" music video for blind listeners on May 9th. BUSTA RHYMES will provide the narration . . . ANI DIFRANCO, DAVE PIRNER and GREG DULLI guest on folk singer-songwriter JEFF KLEIN's The Hustler, due July 12th . . . MODEST MOUSE will kick off another tour behind Good News for People Who Like Bad News on May 25th in Vancouver . . . BRIAN ENO will release his new album, Another Day on Earth, on June 14th . . . DURAN DURAN will kick off their North American summer tour July 15th in Nashville, wrapping up August 3rd in Virginia Beach . . . B.B. KING was named Entertainer of the Year at the twenty-sixth annual W.C. Handy Awards on May 5th. PUDDLE OF MUDD will release the DVD Live at the Key Club: Striking That Familiar Chord on May 31st. The alt-metal band are currently in the studio working on their upcoming album . . . PETER FRAMPTON traveled to Seattle last weekend to record two tracks with PEARL JAM for his as-yet-untitled upcoming instrumentals album . . . The STEVE MILLER BAND will hit the road for the first time in five years on May 26th in Lemoore, California. Miller will be inducted into the Hollywood's Rock Walk on July 11th . . . OK GO will release, Oh No, the follow-up to their 2002 self-titled debut on August 30th. The Chicago rockers will open for the KAISER CHIEFS on their tour, which begins May 25th in Asbury Park, New Jersey . . . Country singer MINDY McCREADY was arrested early Friday morning in Belle Meade, Tennessee, and charged with drunken driving. McCready is currently on probation for fraudulently obtaining Oxycontin at a pharmacy last year . . .

Sony/BMG will make six ELVIS PRESLEY real-music ringtones -- "Heartbreak Hotel," "Burning Love," "Suspicious Minds," "Always on My Mind," "An American Trilogy" and "Moody Blue" -- available to most major cell-phone carriers on May 6th . . . LUDACRIS will release the Red Light District DVD on June 14th. The set features the rapper performing in Amsterdam and exploring that city's neighborhood of the same name . . . The BEATLES have earned their sixth Recording Industry Association of America Diamond Award (recognizing 10 million copies shipped) for 2000's compilation album The Beatles 1. This breaks a tie with LED ZEPPELIN, who have five Diamond albums . . . The DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS, ...AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRIAL OF DEAD and BEN KWELLER have joined the lineup for this year's Lollapalooza festival, which will take place July 23rd and 24th in Chicago . . .

STEPHEN MALKMUS will launch a summer tour in Seattle on May 24th, the same day he releases his new album, Face the Truth . . . MANDY MOORE will guest star in the second season of the HBO series Entourage, premiering June 5th. The singer/actress will also appear with Susan Sarandon, James Gandolfini and Christopher Walken in the upcoming comedic musical Romance & Cigarettes, hitting theaters this August . . . Singer-songwriters JIMMY DEAN and GLENN SUTTON, and fiddler JOHNNY GIMBLE will be inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame on August 20th, where they are set to perform . . . EMINEM and FANTASIA will join RUSSELL SIMMONS and financial expert Suze Orman in Detroit on May 15th as part of the Hip-Hop Summit's outreach program to teach young people money management skills. AUDIOSLAVE will perform a special concert in Havana on May 6th, making them the first U.S. rock band to perform outdoors in Cuba. NEIL YOUNG is back in a Nashville studio recording the follow-up to 2003's Greendale, following his mid-April surgery to treat a brain aneurysm . . . TOBY KEITH will launch his third USO tour later this month. The country music star will travel to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Germany; Belgium; and the Persian Gulf to perform for troops. Keith's new album, Honkytonk University, is due May 17th . . . KANYE WEST, MARY J. Trumpet player BENNY BAILEY died April 14th of unknown causes in his Amsterdam home. Bailey played with jazz legends DIZZY GILLESPIE and LIONEL HAMPTON and recorded with QUINCY JONES and STAN GETZ. He was seventy-nine years old . . . London rapper DIZZEE RASCAL has formed his own label, Dirtee Stank Records . . . The BRAZILIAN GIRLS, PATRICK MORAZ, MONEY MARK and DJ LOGIC are among the artists scheduled to attend this year's Moogfest on May 31st in New York . . . RICHARD THOMPSON will release Front Parlour Ballads, his first album acoustic solo album in twenty-four years, on August 9th . . . Detroit indie rockers KOUFAX will release their third album, Hard Times Are in Fashion, on August 2nd . . .
