The FLAMING LIPS will headline the Xingolati Groove Cruise of the Pacific, featuring G. LOVE AND SPECIAL SAUCE, MEDESKI MARTIN AND WOOD, and the JOHN POPPER PROJECT. The cruise will take place October 14th to 17th , departing from Los Angeles and making its way to Ensenada, Mexico . . . Las Vegas will honor P. DIDDY by naming April 15th "Diddy Day." Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman is set to celebrate the music mogul's achievements . . . LIMP BIZKIT frontman FRED DURST will make his television acting debut on the NBC miniseries Revelations as a devil-worshipper trying to thwart the do-gooder played by Bill Pullman. The BACKSTREET BOYS' fourth album, Never Gone, hits stores June 14th. The boy band will wrap up their intimate club and theater tour on April 18th in Norfolk, Virginia . . . BOB DYLAN will perform at WILLIE NELSON's thirty-second-annual Fourth of July picnic in Fort Worth, Texas. COLDPLAY have made a thirty-second clip of "Speed of Sound," the first track off their upcoming X&Y album, available as a ringtone. JOHN MAYER plays guitar and sings on "I Don't Need No Doctor," a track from That's What I Say, jazz guitarist JOHN SCOFIELD's tribute album to RAY CHARLES.
