U2 frontman BONO is leading One: The Campaign to Make Poverty History, a public service announcement campaign to fight poverty and AIDS. A sixty-second ad featuring JAMIE FOXX, JEWEL, MOS DEF, BRAD PITT and AL PACINO will premiere this Sunday on various networks . . . MAROON 5, GAVIN DEGRAW, HOOBASTANK and RYAN CABRERA will perform at RYAN SEACREST's American Top 40 TV special, airing April 24th on Fox. AVRIL LAVIGNE, BLACK EYED PEAS, CIARA and J-KWON will also make appearances . . . BUDDY GUY, TRAVIS TRITT and the ROOTS' ?UESTLOVE have been added to the lineup for the fifth annual Jammy awards, taking place on April 26th in New York . . . New Orleans roots rocker SHANNON McNALLY will release her second album, Geronimo, on June 28th . . .

PEARL JAM guitarist MIKE McCREADY will headline a benefit concert on April 8th in Seattle for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. McCready, who suffers from Crohn's Disease, will perform with the U.F.O. tribute band FLIGHT TO MARS . . . BUSTA RHYMES joins the PUSSYCAT DOLLS on their first single "Don't Cha," off their as-yet-untitled debut album, due this summer . . . GWEN STEFANI is expanding her L.A.M.B. clothing line to include sneakers, to be available this fall in boutiques and department stores . . . German electronica pioneers KRAFTWERK will play a string of U.S. dates, kicking off May 30th in Washington, D.C., and finishing up June 6th in Los Angeles . . .

WILCO, BRIGHT EYES, JACK JOHNSON, JOSS STONE, DAVE MATTHEWS and FRIENDS and TREY ANASTASIO will be featured on the premiere episode of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival's Radio Bonnaroo, which is set to broadcast on radio stations in forty-three cities across the country . . . D12's BIZARRE will release his first solo album, Hannicap Circus, on June 28th featuring EMINEM, D12, OUTKAST's BIG BOI and DEAD PREZ . . . Twenty rare tracks from the late JOE STRUMMER's pre-CLASH days will be released in early June. The CD will feature him with his band the 101ERS . . .

LOS LONELY BOYS and OZOMATLI will hit the road for the Brotherhood Tour on May 3rd in Hidalgo, Texas, ending August 20th in Highland, Illinois. Indie rockers CALEXICO will join the trek for its first six shows . . . C-MURDER has changed his name to C MILLER. The rapper is currently in prison after being convicted of the second-degree murder of a sixteen-year-old fan . . . STORY OF THE YEAR will release the CD/DVD set, Live in the Lou/Bassassins, on May 10th . . . SMOG's new CD, A River Ain't too Much to Love, will hit stores May 31st with a guest appearance by labelmate JOANNA NEWSOM and JIM WHITE of DIRTY THREE . . .

ELTON JOHN and lyricist BERNIE TAUPIN's Lestat, the musical version of Anne Rice's vampire novels, will open at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco this fall and head to Broadway next year . . . GREEN DAY have announced three fall stadium shows: September 1st in East Rutherford, New Jersey; September 24th in San Francisco; and October 8th in Los Angeles . . . BLACK EYED PEAS, CIARA, JOHN FOGERTY and DOUG E. FRESH have joined the WHITE STRIPES, KID ROCK, the KILLERS, and LOUIS XIV on the lineup for the Atlanta Midtown Music Festival, to take place June 10-12 . . . JURASSIC 5, ROBERT RANDOLPH AND THE FAMILY BAND, G. LOVE AND SPECIAL SAUCE, HOWIE DAY, NORTH MISSISSIPPI ALLSTARS and RAY LAMONTAGNE will serve as openers on the DAVE MATTHEWS BAND's summer tour . . .

SARAH McLACHLAN will kick-off the second leg of her North American tour in support of her album Afterglow on April 12th in British Columbia and ending in Pittsburgh on May 25th . . . MEGADETH, DREAM THEATER, FEAR FACTORY and DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN are among the bands scheduled to perform on this year's Gigantour. The six-week tour is the brainchild of Megadeth frontman DAVE MUSTAINE and will launch in late July . . . BRITNEY SPEARS and husband KEVIN FEDERLINE will star in their own six-episode reality show on UPN in May. The show will document the couple's courtship, engagement and recent wedding . . . JAMIE FOXX's upcoming album, tentatively titled Southern Gentleman, will feature collaborations with 50 CENT, KANYE WEST, SNOOP DOGG, SLASH and ex-CREED frontman SCOTT STAPP . . . Songwriter JACK KELLER died April 1st of leukemia at age sixty-eight. Keller wrote the theme song for TV sitcoms like Bewitched and Gidget, going on to produce the MONKEES first album . . . EURYTHMICS co-founder DAVE STEWART's piano was sold for $6,740 at Bonhams Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers in London. The piano has been played by artists including BOB DYLAN and PAUL McCARTNEY and was recently used on recordings with GWEN STEFANI and JOSS STONE . . .

ASHANTI will play Dorothy in the upcoming television movie, The Muppets' Wonderful Wizard of Oz, set to air May 20th on ABC. The movie will also star QUEEN LATIFAH and Miss Piggy . . . JEWEL will kick off her summer acoustic tour on June 15th in Denver, wrapping up July 30th in Cleveland. Before the trek, on May 3rd, the singer-songwriter will play a Candies Foundation event to raise awareness of teen pregnancy . . . JOSS STONE, NELLIE McKAY, JEM, IVY and ESTHERO will be featured on the Monster-In-Law soundtrack, which hits stores May 10th . . . Guitar legend LES PAUL is currently in the studio recording a CD with ERIC CLAPTON, STING, PETER FRAMPTON, RICHIE SAMBORA and JOSS STONE. He will also be honored on his ninetieth birthday, June 9th, with the Songwriter's Hall of Fame's Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award . . . MICK FLEETWOOD and the EAGLES OF DEATH METAL will perform at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on April 11th without speakers or amplifiers as part of a program called "It's Hip to Hear," focusing on hearing loss prevention . . . British rockers the KAISER CHIEFS will return to the U.S. for a summer tour on May 24th in Philadelphia, wrapping up July 25th in San Francisco . . .

AVRIL LAVIGNE will kick off her summer tour on July 13th in London, Ontario, wrapping up September 3rd in Montreal . . . DAVE NAVARRO and JIM URIE will be featured panelists at Musexpo 2005, the international music and media forum held May 1-4 in Los Angeles . . . The CRYSTAL METHOD will hit the road in support of their upcoming album, Community Service II, due in stores April 5th. The trek kicks off April 7th in Sauget, Illinois, wrapping June 11th in Las Vegas . . . Former 98 DEGREES member JUSTIN JEFFRE is running for mayor in his hometown of Cincinnati, and is hoping to turn the campaign into a reality series for VH1 . . . The CHURCHILLS will release their new album, The Odds of Winning, on June 14th . . . LUDACRIS and WILL SMITH will headline an April 20th concert in Johannesburg, South Africa, celebrating the launching of MTV base, MTV's first pan-African music channel.
