Moby Gets Ready to Roll

Crossover star to air new songs across North America

Moby will launch a twenty-date North American tour in support of his recently released double CD Hotel on April 11th in Norfolk, Virginia.

Mining New Wave, disco and electro, Hotel is two CDs of sample-free tracks, with Moby on almost every instrument. The first disc is a mix of high-energy dance tracks and quiet meditations while the second set features ambient recordings and bucolic melodies.

"It's a more personal, more direct record than some of the music I've made in the past," Moby told Rolling Stone last month. "And it's also part of just getting a little bit older, learning to accept yourself even with all your flaws and foibles and idiosyncrasies."

Among the new songs are a cover of New Order's "Temptation" and "Spiders," which Moby considers "very much an homage to David Bowie."

Moby will head to Europe following his North American jaunt.
