Coldplay Do Coachella

Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails and Wilco are among the acts headlining the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The sixth-annual event is being held April 30th through May 1st at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.

Joining Coldplay and Wilco for first day performances are Weezer, Snow Patrol, Rilo Kiley, the Chemical Brothers, Keane, the Raveonettes, the Kills, Sage Francis, Ambulance LTD and the Secret Machines, as well as reunions of two Eighties acts: goth rockers Bauhaus and electronic pop pioneers the Cocteau Twins.

Day Two will feature performances by Nine Inch Nails, Bright Eyes, New Order, the Arcade Fire, Prodigy, the Futureheads, Thrice, the Dresden Dolls and the Fiery Furnaces, along with a reunion by legendary British punks Gangs of Four.

Last year, more than 50,000 people attended the two-day festival, which hosted the likes of Radiohead, the Cure, Beck and the reunited Pixies on five stages.

Tickets for the festival go on sale February 5th.
