Alicia Keys Gets Intimate

Singer-songwriter to embark on theater tour

Alicia Keys is set to kick off a U.S. tour of "intimate venues" on February 23rd in Columbia, South Carolina. The stint, in support of her Grammy-nominated second album, The Diary of Alicia Keys, will hit thirty-five cities before wrapping up April 24th in New Jersey.

R&B singer-songwriter (and Kanye West protege) John Legend will open. His debut album, Get Lifted, is currently in the Top Five on the album charts.

Keys, whose debut Songs in A Minor won five Grammys, is nominated for eight this year, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year ("If I Ain't Got You"). Shortly after playing the Super Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida, on February 6th, Keys will perform "If I Ain't Got You" at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on February 13th.
