The Beasties' long-awaited return, six years after Hello
Nasty, feels like several great albums in one. There's the
earnest political protest ("Right Right Now Now"), there's the
goofball novelty ("Triple Trouble") and there's the nostalgic tour
through the New York of the 1970s ("Open Letter to NYC"). Not all
the stylistic twists work, but the Beasties soar with heart and
chutzpah.
