The flip side to "Peggy Sue," "Everyday" features the celesta, a keyboard with a glockenspiel-like tone that Petty kept in his New Mexico studio. (It was played by his wife, Vi.) The percussion is drummer Jerry Allison keeping time by slapping his knees.
