Pete Yorn is already gearing up for the release of his second album, Day I Forgot (due April 15th) with a U.S. tour. Yorn kicks things off on April 21st in San Francisco and wraps it up twenty-seven cities later in San Diego.
York is working on the album with Walt Vincent and Brad Wood, who also produced his debut Musicforthemorningafter. Peter Buck of R.E.M., who was a guest on the first album, also returns.
"When we finished the last record, we were really just starting to figure out where we could go," Yorn told Rolling Stone. "This one, I worked with most of the same guys, and we knew how to get what we wanted faster, as opposed to just kind of experimenting. I'm excited about it. It feels fresh."
Yorn will join Coldplay for a one-off gig in New York on the night of the Grammys, February 23rd. They will play the theater at Madison Square Garden following the ceremony.
