Less Than Jake will offer the Limited Tour EP for sale on their fall outing, which launches tonight in St. Louis. The six-song collection features two Less Than Jake songs along with offerings by Rufio, Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard, three opening acts from Jake's tour.

Less Than Jake chip in an alternate version of "The Brightest Bulb Is Burned Out" with a guest spot from Billy Bragg and the album outtake "Sobriety Is a Serious Business and Business Isn't So Good." "It's a typical straight-up, no chaser, really fast, Less Than Jake, forty-five seconds, boom, punk rock song," singer Chris Demakes says of the latter track.

The tour comes in continued support of Jake's latest album, Anthem, and will have spanned nine months by the time it wraps in early-December. After eleven years of touring the veteran ska-punk ensemble has figured out the secret to breaking up the daily monotony of life on the road.

"We try to find different drugs we've never done before," Demakes says. "Now we're into mixing drugs. Today we're going to mix peyote and heroin. Actually you find things over the years. I seek out bookstores and record stores. I've got a favorite Chinese restaurant in San Francisco and a favorite Thai place in L.A."
