Box Car Racer will launch a twenty-two date tour this fall with the Used in tow. Racer, which features Blink-182's guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker as well as guitarist, David Kennedy and bassist, Anthony Celestino, are supporting their self-titled debut release which dropped this May.
"The Minutemen played funk and they played fusion and they played punk and country, so Box Car Racer would be a fun experimental project," Barker told Rolling Stone last year. The band has been just that and connected with fans debuting at Number 12 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its release.
Box Car Racer will play their latest single "There Is" on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on September 3rd.
Meanwhile, newcomers the Used released their self-titled debut record in June and will wrap up the Vans Warped tour before joining Box Car on tour.
