The Eagles will kick off a thirty-one-date, seven-week North American tour May 31st in Reno, Nevada. The confirmed dates stretch through July 30th, when the tour will wrap up in Biloxi, Mississippi.
The Eagles -- now a four-piece consisting of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit and Glenn Frey -- toured Europe last summer and played a Los Angeles Recording Artists Coalition Benefit in February, but have not toured the United States together since their reunion outing in 1995 and 1996.
The band is working on new material for a follow-up to 1994's mostly live Hell Freezes Over that they expect to release early next year. It will be the Eagles' first set composed entirely of new songs since 1979's The Long Run.
Tickets for selected dates go on sale April 18th; sales for the remaining shows will open April 22nd.
