Dashboard Confessional Unplug

Breakthrough emo rockers Dashboard Confessional will release their MTV Unplugged 2.0 set, packaged together with a bonus DVD, via Vagrant Records December 17th.

The fifteen-track CD features songs pulled from the band's acclaimed The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most (2001) as well as its 2000 debut, Swiss Army Romance -- essentially a solo record from frontman/songwriter Chris Carraba.

The bonus DVD consists of the original MTV2 telecast as well as two songs cut from that airing.

Dashboard Confessional are currently touring with former Old 97's frontman Rhett Miller and Hot Rod Circuit; that outing will wrap up November 5th in Honolulu.
