Phil Collins has emerged from the stu-stu-studio with Testify, his first new album in six years. The record is scheduled for a November 12th release.

Despite the layoff between albums, Testify follows a busy few years for Collins. His work on the 1999 Tarzan soundtrack -- the hit single "You'll Be in My Heart" in particular -- earned him the trifecta of an Oscar, Grammy and a Golden Globe. Also released in 1999 was A Hot Night in Paris, a live album featuring Collins' big band. Collins also married in 1999, and last year he became a father, two events that inspired his latest album's mood. "The songs for this were written over the last two years," he says. "Working with new toys and new tools, they pretty much wrote themselves, and only occasionally needed nudging along. There are some songs here that are amongst the best I have ever written."

Testify track listing:

Don't Get Me Started
Come With Me (Close Your Eyes)
Testify
Wake Up Call
Swing Low and Sweet
It's Too Late
This Love This Heart
Driving Me Crazy
Least You Can Do
Thru My Eyes
You Touch My Heart
Can't Stop Loving You
