"Spawn" Soundtrack Makes Techno-Wave Stew

(LOS ANGELES) - The soundtrack to the upcoming New Line Cinema release Spawn teams top electronica groups with chart-topping alternative rock acts, once again conveying the industry's hope of pushing electronic music into the mainstream. The brainchild of Immortal Records CEO Happy Walters, the album boasts 14 pairings such as Filter and the Crystal Method, Marilyn Manson and Sneaker Pimps, Korn and the Dust Brothers, Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello and Prodigy and Metallica and DJ Spooky.
