Ol' Dirty Bastard Arrested ... Again

Human headline-making machine Ol' Dirty Bastard added another notch of controversy to his belt yesterday after he was arrested on charges of making terrorist threats against his former girlfriend. |

According to police reports, ODB, born Russell Tyrone Jones, was apprehended by police officers while he was trying to climb a security gate at the woman's Carson, Calif., home. He was apprehended and charged with making terrorist threats, or "making death threats with the ability of carrying them out," according to Los Angeles County Sheriff Department spokesperson Vincent Callier. Official reports say ODB (a k a Big Baby Jesus) was not carrying a weapon at the time.

ODB was then taken to the Carson sheriff station before being transferred to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility, where he's being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.

According to Callier, his ex-girlfriend filed a terrorist threat report against ODB on Monday, November 2. Three days later, the woman phoned Carson police informing them that ODB was on his way over to her home following death threats he allegedly made against the woman.

This arrest marks the third time in as many months that ODB has been in legal hot water, the last of which occurred on Sept. 17, when he was arrested in West Hollywood for allegedly threatening to kill security officers at the House of Blues. He is currently awaiting a Nov. 17 preliminary hearing on three charges of terrorist threats related to that arrest, all of which he's since pled not guilty to. Two months prior to his HOB arrest, ODB was arrested and charged with shoplifting a pair of Nike sneakers only weeks after being shot during a robbery in Brooklyn, N.Y.
