(NASHVILLE) - Relating to earlier briefs, Johnny Cash has Parkinson's disease and has postponed both his current book and concert tours. |

Bonnie Sugarman, who heads the Nashville office of Agency for the Performing Arts, Cash's booking agency, said the country legend had to indefinitely postpone book promotion dates through Nov. 8, including stops on "Good Morning America" and "Regis & Kathy Lee."

Some 15 concert dates in November and December, including Christmas shows, have also been called off. Cash tours almost incessantly with wife June and the Carter Family. "He's done at least 100 dates a year forever," Sugarman said, adding, "We're all praying for him and we love him."

Cash's new book is Cash - The Autobiography. His last two albums, produced by American's Rick Rubin, have been successful both critically and commercially. Cash has sold more than 50 million records.
