A group of Africa's top musicians came together to record an album for the International Committee of the Red Cross in order to raise awareness on Africa's ethnic discrimination and random killing of innocent civilians during wartime.|

The compilation, titled So Why?, was released in Africa and Europe yesterday and features Youssou N'Dour from Senegal, Lucky Dube and Jabu Khanyile of South Africa, Papa Wemba from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria's Lagbaja and Lourdes Van Dunem of Angola.

All proceeds from the CD will go to the Red Cross. (Ari Bendersky)
