EMINEM is set to hit the big screen once again in a starring role, this time as a bounty hunter in the movie remake of the CBS TV drama Have Gun -- Will Travel, which ran from 1957-63. The rapper's follow-up to his 2002 film debut, the loosely autobiographical blockbuster 8 Mile, will likely also be set in his hometown of Detroit and feature him performing on the soundtrack. A release date has yet to be set.

Korn's Davis Nearly Dies of Headbanging

After KORN singer JONATHAN DAVIS was forced to pull out of a performance at England's Download Festival -- the band was backed instead by guest vocalists from SLIPKNOT and AVENGED SEVENFOLD -- the frontman revealed that he has been diagnosed with the blood disorder immune thrombocytopenic purpura, which he detected when he noticed bruises all over his body. Doctors have instructed Davis not to perform for several weeks, forcing Korn to cancel their European tour. Davis stated on Korn's Web site, "If I continued to headbang onstage, I could have had a brain hemorrhage and dropped dead on the spot."

Panic! at the Disco Vs. Ex-Bassist

After deciding to replace bassist BRENT WILSON last month, PANIC! AT THE DISCO are in the midst of a public spat with their former bandmate. The group's claim, according to a statement sent to MTV: "We made the decision based on Brent's lack of responsibility and the fact that he wasn't progressing musically with the band." Wilson's response: "There had been no previous conversations about anyone leaving the band." Upping the ante, Panic! also claim Wilson didn't write any of the bass parts on their hit debut, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out.

Ligeti was eighty-three.
