Kanye Goes Hollywood

KANYE WEST is set to help executive-produce and appear in an as-yet-untitled film inspired by his music. The multi-perspective, New Line Cinema project will also be executive-produced by Broadway veteran GEORGE C. WOLFE, who directed the Emmy-winning, music-driven HBO film, Lackawanna Blues. Six writers and about a dozen directors will draft short stories all linked by a central narrative, while the film will feature both new and old material from West. Meanwhile, the six-time Grammy winner was recently tapped by TOM CRUISE to produce a new version of the classic Mission: Impossible theme song for this summer's third installment of the action series.

The Game Heads to the Big Screen

Embarrassment, Pain Lead Stapp to Sue

Following KID ROCK, SCOTT STAPP is suing World Red Light District, the company that plans to distribute the sex tape showing the two rockers in sex acts with four women. The federal lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles by the ex-CREED frontman claims that the distributor has infringed on his privacy and trademark rights, causing embarrassment, pain, suffering and emotional distress and demands that the sale or distribution of the sex tape -- allegedly stolen from a safe in Stapp's home -- be stopped.

Jack Black Ties the Knot
