Sheryl Crow Returns, With DMB

SHERYL CROW, who recently cancelled her March tour due to her ongoing breast cancer treatment, will get back onstage this summer with DAVE MATTHEWS BAND when they play Boston's Fenway Park July 7th and 8th. Crow is undergoing radiation therapy as a precaution for the cancer successfully removed in surgery last month.

The Killers Slap Back

The KILLERS and their current manager have asked that the $16-million breach of contract suit filed against them last month by their former manager -- claiming he was dumped once the band became commercially successful -- be dismissed. In the filing, the Killers cite incompetence and dishonesty as the motives behind the initial lawsuit.

Lips Get Ready for "War"

The FLAMING LIPS have begun rolling out dates for a spring/summer tour in support of their long-awaited April 4th release, At War With the Mystics. The alt-psychedelic rockers will play two New York shows, March 31st and April 1st, as well as a July 23rd concert in Los Angeles. Beginning March 21st, the band's first Mystics single, "The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song," will be available for download when fans pre-order the complete album through iTunes. The iTunes pre-order will also exclusively feature the Lips' "Time Travel," as well as other exclusive Lips tracks.

Master P Escapes With Community Service

Facing up to three years in prison if convicted, MASTER P and his brother SILKK THE SHOCKER pleaded no contest on Monday to gun charges stemming from a 2005 arrest in Los Angeles. Master P (born Percy Miller) pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charge for carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm, while Silkk (born Vyshonn Miller) pleaded no contest to the felony charge for carrying an unregistered gun. Both were fined $700 and given forty hours of community service, and Silkk was also given three years of probation.

Offspring Man Goes for a Run

The OFFSPRING's DEXTER HOLLAND is planning to run the Los Angeles Marathon on April 19th in an effort to raise money for the Innocence Project, a group that advocates DNA testing to prove the innocence of convicted criminals.

Bob Dylan Rolls Out More Dates

More dates for the BOB DYLAN and MERLE HAGGARD tour have been announced. The tour, which kicks off April 7th in Las Vegas, will head along the South and Midwest through April 30th. Dylan, who is currently at work on a new album, will also play four April shows on his own, as well as the New Orleans Jazz Festival on April 28th.

Walkmen, Living Things Take Flight

The day after the WALKMEN release A Hundred Miles Off -- their third album featuring the drum-heavy "Emma, Get Me a Lemon," mariachi slow-jam "Louisiana" and trademark reverb on "All Hands and the Cook" -- the New York rockers hit the road for a twenty-three-date jaunt, beginning May 24th in their town. This weekend, they will also open for a string of much-anticipated POGUES reunion shows in New York . . . Hip-hoppers BLACKALICIOUS, currently touring in support of their third album The Craft, have added additional April dates. The tour will now continue through April 20th in Seattle . . . LIVING THINGS will launch a tour in support of their latest, Ahead of the Lions, on March 22nd in Houston, wrapping on May 7th in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Poison, Smash Mouth Punch Up "Surreal Life"

POISON's C.C. DEVILLE and SMASH MOUTH's STEVE HARWELL are among those casted in the sixth season of VH1's The Surreal Life, which premieres on March 19th. Playmate ANDREA LOWELL, actors SHERMAN HEMSLEY and ALEXIS ARQUETTE and model TAWNY KITAEN also made the cut . . . Biography: JERRY GARCIA, an episode profiling the prolific life of the late GRATEFUL DEAD guitarist, premieres March 21st on the Biography Channel. The special features interviews with bandmates BOB WEIR, MICKEY HART and lyricist JOHN BARLOW, among others. The network will also re-air its profiles of ERIC CLAPTON, JIMI HENDRIX and NEIL YOUNG throughout that week.

Pitbull to Lead AIDS Benefit

PITBULL, DON OMAR, NINA SKY, TANTRO METRO AND DEVONTE and VOLTIO are among the reggaeton artists who will perform at this year's LIFEbeat's Hearts and Voices Benefit Concert Series. Dubbed Reggaeton Explosion 3, the event, slated for March 29th at New York's Spirit nightclub, will benefit AIDS awareness group LIFEbeat.
