John Tanner Apology Letter To Mary Frances Berry

1/15/09, 5:24 pm EST

Following up on the racism at the DOJ’s civil rights division.

John Tanner has written a letter of apology to Mary Frances Berry for referring to her as “black and bitter” like his coffee.

How to ruin a sincere apology? Lie about transparently about what you meant by “bitter.”

Reads like a template for conservative ‘pragmatism’, huh?

Make a fake apology, excuse yourself in the process as you dissemble your original intentions, then make yourself seem like a totally great guy because of some things you’ve done to grant you ‘plausible deniability’. Bush’s farewell speech followed the same pattern to a tee.

I was misunderstood, taken out of context.
I sincerely apologize IF I was insensitive or dumb, I didn’t mean to(there was no ill intent), I was misinterpreted by the media or some other entity.
Finally, I am not a racist and elitist as my comments and letters have evinced. I have given money to organizations that cover my ass in situations like this.
Once again, priceless!!

Peace

So, I guess observing that this guy and his behavior was white, disgusting and thick-headed like a pus-filled boil is right out? Jackass!
