Proof that God exists.

Congratulations to Barack Obama and, given a lot of things I’ve said in the past, congratulations America.
You’re not QUITE as bad off as I feared.
That, as they say, is the GOOD news. The BAD news is that the democrats in general and young Obama in particular, has serious work cut out for him. Bushney had seven years of dragging this country down into second-rate status. That can’t be undone overnight.

I’m listening to the McCain consession speech. McCain is graceful in defeat, his supporters are another story.

Nas called it. We finally have a Black President.
An excellent concession speech by McCain, an inspiring speech by Obama.

Congratulations to Barack Obama. A great acceptance speech. I may not agree with him on many issues, but what a tremendous accomplishment and campaign. I tip my hat to him in admiration.

I realize the final tallies aren’t in, but it doesn’t appear any more folks voted this time around than in 2004. That year, Bush got 62M and Kerry 59M. This year, according to CNN, Obama has 62.7M and McCain 55.6M. Maybe they haven’t counted the popular vote in states still undecided, but I don’t see that changing the numbers bigtime.
No matter, I think now the focus should be on Congress AND the wonderful game of “Who’s Who” in the Obama cabinet.

Congratulations, President Elect Barak Obama!!! And, congratulations Vice-President elect, Joe Biden!! A great day for America.
Now, I just hope that the recount up here in MN for the senate race turns up another 700 or so votes for Franken. The race is one of the closest in history. A margin of less than one half of one percent, or about 600 votes of 2.9 million! Yikes. Go Al!!

Congratulations to Barack and Joe! Can’t wait till you’re in the White House!
