10/29/08, 4:34 pm EST

Colorado is breaking for Obama 53-45 in the latest CNN poll

“Older voters in Colorado have started to break Obama’s way.” CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. “Two weeks ago he was losing the over-50 crowd by a couple of points. Now he has a five-point edge among them.”

8 Whole Points??
Consider the money Obama is spending and he should be up by 80 points!!
It’s less than a week to the election and Senator Obama is only up by 3???
Come on, Joe Biden can blow that with one of his brain farts…
While I’m not that crazy about an Obama Presidency, I can’t deny that I’m not all that crazy about an McCain Presidency either..
I live in a state that allows early voting, and I voted last week.
I didn’t vote for Senator Obama, and I didn’t vote for Senator McCain.
Anytime that America gets to choose between two Senators to be the next President, America looses.
Being a United States Congressman or woman or a United States Senator should automatically disqualify you from running for President.
That’s why I voted for the lessor of two evils..
I voted for Sarah Palin, She’s not a Senator and she’s not a United States Congresswoman, and if John McCain does pull this thing off.
He should get down on his knees and thank Sarah Palin for handing the election to him on a silver platter.
Because John McCain could not win this election without Sarah Palin.
But,,
I think Senator Obama would have had at the very least 5 more points if he had chosen someone other than another Senator, some Female Governor or Businesswoman could have helped a great deal.

But hay, if I were Senator Obama, I would loose, but not make it look obvious, then I’d retire from politics and take the money and run. Kind of like what Al Gore did.

This makes no sense, Barak Hussein Osama is a tourist and a commie.

CCo..ISP | 10/29/2008, 9:20 pm EST

People are starting to break for who they think is going to win now.

“Tourist”?

TinFoilHat | 10/29/2008, 10:41 pm EST

Tajed,
Get used to it. And salute when you say that!

Joy | 10/30/2008, 1:27 am EST

So many of us are tired of the ignorant and desperate Republicans down & dirty smear campaign against Obama! The Repubs have done
so much damage over the last 8 years they’ve been in the White House…it’s time for CHANGE! No
McCain, No Palin…No Way No How!
OBAMA 08!

partycrasher | 10/30/2008, 4:43 am EST

A guy named Joe ask Obama a question. Obama makes the mistake of saying ” spread the wealth “. Which causes him problems. In respnse the pro Obama media and Obama surogates go after Joe, digging up any kind of dirt to try and destroy him.
A news anchor on an Orlando TV Station ask Joe Biden about what Obama said and what Joe Biden said about an international crisis happening to test Obama. Biden doesn’t like the question. The station is being black balled by Obama campaign and the news reporter.s husband is being investigated.
There are other examples.
So a private citizen and a member of the press simply ask questions that the Obama campaign doesn’t like and they become victums of the attack machine. What happens if Obama becomes Pres. and has the full power of the Fed Govt to go after it’s critics? Should send chills up the spines of every freedom of dissent loving citizen. Dem, Republican or Idependent.

Bess | 10/30/2008, 6:27 am EST

Delta Wild Man???
Are you totally stupid?? Do you know how to read!??? How can you defend McSame/Failin’ Palin?? Wake up!!! McCain is Bush! Palin is Cheney~~Only dumber, with lipstick!

DirtyDennis | 10/30/2008, 10:02 am EST

C’mon PC, quite with the BS.

If anyone ‘went after’ Joe the Plumber, it was Johnny Boy citing him. Once he did that, the guy became fair game. Until then, NO ONE gave a rat’s ptui about him.

Please explain how Obama can ‘blackball’ a TV station and ‘investigate’ anyone. You sound just like Joe McCarthy,

Perhaps if Obama becomes Prez, with a Dem congress, perhaps he/they should go after smutrackers. I know, they could call them ‘tourists’ and tap their phones. Worked for Georgie Porgie.

partycrasher | 10/30/2008, 12:01 pm EST

Dirty D,
Going after private citizens in a personal way as oppose to debating his ideas is fair game in a BO and DD world. Investigating a tv reporter’s husband because her questions embarassed Joe ( I put my foot in my mouth again ) Biden, is fair game in a BO and DD world. This is the brave new world you want?
How can Obama campaign black ball a tv station? Do you watch the news? After the interview with Biden, the BO Cmpgn told the station they would have no more access to their campaign for the rest of the election and maybe further. The station is the top one in Orlando Fl. market. That’s economic black balling. Access is the life line of any news organization. I guess until they get their questions right and pre approved. Isn’t that what happened to Hollywood Actors? They were blacklisted.
Maybe in a BO Adm. they can just give a 30 min infomercial once a month to keep us informed. And run it on preapproved TV Stations, in an BO and DD world?
How can BO investigate anyone? You’re joking, right? They got $100million of extra cash they can’t spend. You think they can’t hire enough snoops to dig through anyones trash that they want to? Get real.
And finally, if I raise questions of McCarthy like tatics? I’m accused of McCarthyism? Only in a BO and DD World.
And I’m sure when the Dems control the Prez and Congress they will go after all kinds of people. Destroying people they disagree with is their favorite pass time.
DD you either agree with these Gestapo like tatics or you got your head up your proverbial butt.
And spare me any GW references. He ain’t running. Let’s move on (.org).

DirtyDennis | 10/30/2008, 12:19 pm EST

PC,

You just described the last three GOP Prez’. Now, if you have any PROOF that that a TV station was ‘blackballed,’ please come forward with it. If you have any PROOF that someone was ‘investigated,’ come up with it.

Then, could we compare THOSE with illegal wiretappings, please?

If the WORST that an Obama presidency does is ‘blackball’ TV stations (by the way, EVERY Prez has done so) and ‘investigates’ some folks (EVERY Prez has also done THAT) then he may well go down as the most BENIGN Prez in the history of the country.

We have TRILLION $$$ debt and a war that not only can NEVER end, but is also spreading and you worry about THIS BS? No wonder this country’s in the mess it is.

Coach | 10/30/2008, 1:16 pm EST

DD, worry not. Crasher’s just starting to get severely frustrated that McCain’s getting his hat handed to him…….

Funny thing is, I don’t hear Crasher SUPPORTING McPlain. All I hear is him TRYING to rip Obama….

Sallad | 10/30/2008, 1:36 pm EST

Party Crasher -

You crack me up! I don’t even think you believe half the crap you post on here. I sure hope somebody is paying for these posts.

Joe the Plumber (not even a real Joe) is a liar and a GOP hack. And, like everybody else has already told you, if McCain hadn’t brought him up 50 times in the debate he wouldn’t have had the attention he has. He’s a fake and a tax dodger. I heard that he stood McCain up this morning. Old Johnny boy was expecting him to be there and called upon him only to find that he wasn’t there. Oops!! That’s got to be embarrassing.

And, as for your tv station story: How about a link or an article title? I’m curious to read about it, not to hear your lame talking points that are full of half-truths and distortions.

PartyCrasher | 10/30/2008, 11:23 pm EST

DD, Sallad, Coach and whoever,

I`ve supplied links and articles numerous times in past postings about other subjects. It doesn`t matter. With you guys it goes in one ear and out the other. Probably because there`s nothing in there to stop it. But mostly, you`re not interested in any opposing views.
Sallad, you know what “cracks me up” is that I finally realized that you guys don`t have a clue as to what`s in the news. You probably get all your news from RS and other lib blogs.
If you want proof and links, look it up yourselves. I`m not running an Obama type information welfare service for lazy libs. I assume you have access to Google.
I gave you the facts. If you think I`m lying. I don`t care.
I`ll give you a lead because I know it`s tough for you. Her name is Barbara West and she`s Anchor on WFTV Orlando Fl.
She was just interviewed on tv, claiming that Obama`s people have been snooping into her husband`s private info, looking to smear, ever since the Biden interview. Not very nice behavior for a Messiah and his Dsciples.
And she`s no right wing plant. She used to be an assistant to Peter Jennings of ABC News. A big time Lib, may he rest in peace.
Now do your own research!
Sallad, here`s a clue just for you. Because I can tell you`re a bit challenged. Orlando is that city, with the Mouse, with the big Ears. Now I gave you a big hint. Let`s see how smart you are.

So DD, under your standards of fair play, in Obama World. It would be ok for McCain`s people to go after the private lives of the four families featured in Obama`s 30 min (America sucks, sob story) infomercial.
After all they agreed to be in a political commercial. That makes them Democratic Hacks according to Sallad. And it would be alright to use any information about them, to trash them, even if that information has nothing to do with the issues they are talking about. You know, alright in DD and Obama World!
You guys are so phony with your so called concern with civil liberties.
Here`s another one:
An Official of The Ohio Dept of Jobs & Family Services used State Computers to snoop onto Joe the Plumber`s personal and confidential records.
This official is an Obama supporter and gave money to his campaign. Don`t believe me. Look it up yourself.
And I think what she did is illegal????
But not in DD/Obama World!!

Cant`t wait till DD/Obama World runs the country.
Wire taps my a–!

And finally Coach.
Yeah if McCain has his head handed to him, it will sting Bro.
But I know my reaction to an Obama win will be much more tempered than your`s and the rest of your buddies on this blog, to a McCain win.
Just think. What if the polls are wrong? What if Obama has his head handed to him? Hee, hee, hee. You guys will be ready for the rubber rooms. Of course I wouldn`t rub it in. Would I?? Hee, hee. Make sure you have the Suicide Hotline number on speed dial.
Oh man Bro, just the thought could give you a cardiac. Ha,ha.
But look on the bright side. If the Messiah does lose, you guys can spend the next four years on this blog writing about how McCain stole the election. The conspiracy theories will start flying.
But don`t worry about all that Bro. Sleep tight tonight.

TinFoilHat | 10/31/2008, 8:38 am EST

“Cant`t wait till DD/Obama World runs the country”

Good! You certainly have a better attitude than most McPain supporters.

Don’t worry PC, Obama will be a good president. Maybe even a great one (with our help).

TinFoilHat | 10/31/2008, 9:20 am EST

BTW,
the McCain campaign has routinely punished journalists it views as hostile by cutting off their access:

– Last month, the McCain campaign barred New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd from flying on both the McCain and Palin press planes.

– Time Magazine’s Joe Klein revealed last week that he too had been barred from traveling with the McCain campaign, telling Politico’s Michael Calderone that the campaign began freezing him out after he asked McCain an uncomfortable question about foreign policy.

– During the Republican National Convention, McCain canceled an appearance on CNN’s Larry King Live after CNN’s Campbell Brown persistently asked flustered McCain flack Tucker Bounds about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s foreign policy experience and qualifications.

– When Newsweek wrote a cover story in May examining the hardball tactics conservatives might use in the general election, the McCain campaign “threatened to throw the magazine’s reporters off the campaign bus and airplane.”

The McCain campaign’s press punishment doesn’t end with just cutting off access. At one point, campaign staffers “even considered pulling out of one of the three presidential debates because it would be moderated by Tom Brokaw, a former NBC News anchorman.”

DirtyDennis | 10/31/2008, 11:34 am EST

In the DD/Obama administration, I’ll let Barack handle the press. He seems to have a knack for it.

I’ll concentrate on eliminating off-shore accounts, developing tax penalties for companies who ship their manufacturing OUT of this country, aggressively prosecuting white collar crimes, nationalizing the oil industry and subsidizing hybrid automobiles. For starters.

I may even have time to prosecute former administration officials for malfeasance, low crimes and misdemeanors.

I’ll also push aggressively for changing the selection of a Prez to a popular vote (thank you Coach). And while we’re at it, eliminate private funding for ANY State or Federal position.

I’m open for other suggestions. It’s a whole new ball game.

PS Tnx PC. At first I didn’t think I’d want to be part of the new administration, you know, living in D.C., no privacy, all the usual BS. But the thought occurred to me, I’d have ALL that law enforcement resources available to me to harass bozos who fill up liberal blogs with Con Crap.

Coach | 10/31/2008, 2:10 pm EST

DD, fabulous policies. I commend you. I, however, would like to ‘lobby’ to start taxing ‘big’ religion and mandate government agencies to go ‘green’ with all their buildings and automobiles.

DirtyDennis | 10/31/2008, 3:02 pm EST

You got it Coach. I’ll create a new position, Tax Czar. You can rearrange the tax structure any way you see fit.

If the church doesn’t want to be ’separated’ from the State, that’s fine. Let them join with the rest of us.

Oh, whilst you’re Tax Czar, please get rid of those ridiculous loop-holes.

partycrasher | 10/31/2008, 4:40 pm EST

DD, Coach,
You may or may not be pulling my leg, with all your authoritarian big brother wish list.
If only Obama would be as honest. But if he was, he wouldn’t have snowball’s chance in Hell, of getting elected. He has to disguise his true intents from the voters.
Big Brother has always been fine with the left. As long as it’s on the left.
Hey DD when you your DOJ come after me , I guess you can go back to your boring little circle jerk blog where everybody agrees with each other.
Liberal’s biggest fault, is they are Boring.

partycrasher | 10/31/2008, 4:52 pm EST

TFH,
He may be a great President. I hope so for your sake. Because if he turns out to be just mediocre after this media created build up, there are going to be some who will have all their hopes dashed. And if sucks as Prez.? I hate to think.

Coach | 10/31/2008, 6:20 pm EST

Crasher, for once, tell us why you support McCain. We’re ALL still waiting for you to say it’s been a great thing to give tax breaks to the rich, invade Iraq, torture innocent people, illegally wiretap your own citizens, deregulate the commodities industries, and then completely socialize the banking system.

Or, are you unable of actually sharing the reasons you ARE voting for McCain?

We’re all anxiously awaiting…….

DirtyDennis | 10/31/2008, 7:16 pm EST

Big Brother? Please. The Cons took the high ground on that one with the ‘Patriot Act.’ You don’t get any more ‘brotherly’ than that.

TinFoilHat | 10/31/2008, 8:22 pm EST

PC,
He can’t possibly suck as much as Bush.

PartyCrasher | 11/1/2008, 3:09 am EST

TFH,

Joe Klein and Maureen Dowd are opinion columnist. They`re not reporters. They`re lucky they got a ride at all. And Larry King, you`re kidding right?

Obama just bounced three Newspapers` reporters off his plane because their editorial sections endorsed McCain.

They are being replaced by Ebony and Essence Magazines.
That should be some real puff, uh, I mean tough, reporting.

PartyCrasher | 11/1/2008, 3:17 am EST

TFH,

“PC,
He can’t possibly suck as much as Bush.”

That`s what the Russians said about Lennin.
“He can`t possibly suck as much as the Czar”.

They`re still trying to get rid of that 70+ years hangover!

PartyCrasher | 11/1/2008, 3:35 am EST

Coach,

You said and I added in (MY OWN COMMENTS)
“Crasher, for once, tell us why you support McCain. We’re ALL still waiting for you to say it’s been a great thing to give tax breaks to the rich,(I NEVER GOT A JOB FROM A POOR MAN) invade Iraq, (GOT RID OF ONE MURDERING AHOLE) torture innocent people (TERRORIST, AND IF ONLY WE DID) , illegally wiretap your own citizens,(LEGALLY AUTHORIZED BY CONGRESS. BY THE WAY, CAN YOU NAME ONE CITIZEN?) deregulate the commodities industries (DEREGULATION WAS STARTED UNDER CLINTON), and then completely socialize the banking system.” (SIGNED ON BY MORE DEMS THAN REPS)

My answer: All of the above!

Like I`ve said a dozen times before. McCain ain`t my first choice. BUT OBAMA??? Your joking right?

Why you are you supporting the Messiah?

PartyCrasher | 11/1/2008, 4:00 am EST

Dirty D,

You might want to hold off with your plans to send the DD Obama/World D.O.J.after me.

Here`s the latest from the Zogby Poll. Dated Halloween.

Pollster John Zogby: “Is McCain making a move? The three-day average holds steady, but McCain outpolled Obama today, 48% to 47%. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all. “Obama’s lead among women declined, and it looks like it is occurring because McCain is solidifying the support of conservative women, which is something we saw last time McCain picked up in the polls. If McCain has a good day tomorrow, we will eliminate Obama’s good day three days ago, and we could really see some tightening in this rolling average. But for now, hold on.”

SCARY! AIN`T IT?
BOO!! TRICK OR TREAT!

DirtyDennis | 11/1/2008, 8:09 am EST

PC

You said,

“Cant`t wait till DD/Obama World runs the country.”

Make up your mind.

TinFoilHat | 11/1/2008, 8:30 am EST

PC,
the point is, campaigns do that kind of stuff. Obama’s campaign is not unique in this. I’m not endorsing here, but lets stay in the real world, shall we?

Coach | 11/1/2008, 1:10 pm EST

OK Crasher:

Tax breaks for the rich create monopolies, and therefore, kill small businesses.

Got rid of a murdering Ahole by invading Iraq? What do you think those people think of Bush? Murdering Ahole?

So, you endorse torture by us?

Wiretapping illegally authorized? Huh? He bypassed the warrant process, making it illegal. AND FOR WHAT? HE HAD 9/11′S INTELLIGENCE IN HIS HANDS 35 DAYS BEFORE……SO WHAT GOOD DOES INTELLIGENCE DO IN THE HANDS OF A MORON?

Deregulation may have been started under Clinton, but abused by Bush…..

Deflect, Deflect, Deflect.

Godspeed Crasher. It must suck to be so hardcore.

PartyCrasher | 11/2/2008, 12:43 pm EST

Coach,

I`ve tried answering your last post five different times and five different ways. I swear I`m being censored on this freakin blog. If you want my well thought out responses try asking again on another article.

PartyCrasher | 11/2/2008, 12:49 pm EST

Hey TD,

Why can`t I post certain comments?

I ain`t paranoid but it sure seems suspicious.

TinFoilHat | 11/2/2008, 1:28 pm EST

PC, Jed once posted a list of words that the system is set to reject. I apparently did not save the list, but its here somewhere.

If memory serves, besides obvious swearwords, you cannot successfully post words having to do with commerce (b.uy, s.ell, etc..)

partycrasher | 11/3/2008, 10:51 am EST

TFH,
Thanks for the tip. Hey Jed, do you still have that list of words you cant use?

DirtyDennis | 11/3/2008, 11:53 am EST

And here I thought the breath of fresh air we were experiencing lately was because PartyPooper was down on the Maginot Line of So Texas ‘guarding’ America.

PartyCrasher | 11/3/2008, 4:33 pm EST

Dirty D,

Do I detect sarcasm? If I didn`t know better, I`d think you were mad at me.
No, I`m not in So. Texas. Those country boys can take care of themselves.
And come to think of it, they can be counted on to save your a–, and mine too, if the country ever needed them.
Which is more than I can say about most of your buddies on the whiny left.
Come on be honest. Who would you want backing you up?

But why are you so grumpy? Your on the verge of a great victory. You should be jubilant?

Anonymous | 11/3/2008, 5:06 pm EST

Jed Clampett

Those country boys will follow anyone, regardless of how bad the person is, because they have no freewill, they will blindly follow whomever seems to be a person of authority. If commanded to fire upon their own countrymen because they are not from ‘the real America’, they will do so with righteousness in their minds because they did ‘the right thing’… whatever it is they have convinced themselves the right thing is… killing peasants in rice fields or date farms for example.

You already know from TFH the economic ones. Stop using soc.ialist or any version of it and you may get through. Comm.unism seems to be another bad one.

Peace

DirtyDennis | 11/3/2008, 5:54 pm EST

PartyPooper,

I would like to think we’re all out ‘here’ ’cause it’s fun. I doubt anyone’s gonna change anyone else’s mind.

And your ears seem to be well tuned to sarcasm, although you’d have had to be deaf to have missed it.

Jed pretty well capsulized the ‘reliability’ of the Texan ‘Rangers.’ As long as they don’t take me for the enemy, I’d like them on my back. But if I was of color with a streak of independence, I’d want one or two beside me at all times, the better to prevent ‘friendly fire.’

partycrasher | 11/4/2008, 8:56 am EST

DD, Coach, TFH, Jed and All,

Well guys it’s E Day. No matter what the outcome, a good day to all.
And just to keep it all in perspective, remember 99.99% of life is lived outside of politics.
See you after the horse race.
